Stephen Humble

In his role as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London, Dr Humble has published numerous clinical and scientific papers in the fields of Medicine and Neuroscence respectively. He is the Academic Lead for Spinal Pain and has lectured at national and international conferences and his research into interventions for the prevention of pain after surgery has been referenced many times by other scientific authors. Dr Humble’s Neuroscience PhD on the brain and spinal cord explored the underlying molecular mechanisms responsible for the development neuropathic pain.

Dr Humble is an expert in Spinal interventional Medicine and he has performed thousands of epidurals and other spinal injections over the last 16 years or so. He is trained in cutting edge techniques that are only performed by a small number of specialised doctors such as radiofrequency therapy for spinal pain and nerve entrapment syndromes as well as capsaicin patch therapy for painful peripheral neuropathy. He is the Medical Director for the London Interventional Clinic, Spinal Medicine.

Dr Humble is the Medical Director of the Hedox Clinic, Medical Aesthetics. He obtained the Level 7 Postgraduate Qualification in Aesthetic Medicine at the Harley Academy, London, where he now also works as an Assessor. Only a small number of practitioners in the UK hold this exclusive qualification.

The Harley Academy is the UK’s largest postgraduate training provider in aesthetic medicine. The Harley Academy is the UK’s first nationally recognised Level 7 qualification in injectables for aesthetic medicine and is regulated by Ofqual. This postgraduate qualification is the highest training level available for Aesthetic Medicine and allows practitioners to meet Health Education England’s 2016 Qualification Requirements for the Delivery of Cosmetic Procedures.
